Run For Clover

Run For Clover is a small turn based game made for the Clover Jam game jam. It was started on 1/1/2023 and finished on 1/14/2023. 

The object of the game is to isolate yourself from the red guys. To do this, the player must plant clover seeds in the dirt in the center of the map... also known as the isolation ring. Once enough clover is planted in the dirt, the player wins.

Careful, however. The red guys have an issue with you and will chase you down. If they catch you, you will be entered into a battle. You can try to run, but you will only have a few seconds before the chase is on again.

Collect seeds from clovers that have bloomed. Plant the seeds in the dirt.

Collect berries from the bushes. The berries can be used to restore health.

All graphics were designed by me. I used GIMP2.

The rain sound is from a video I recorded of a heavy rain storm. I used DaVinci Resolve to remove the visuals, edit, and export just the audio.

The enemy chasing sound effect was made using BoscaCeoil.

The game was made in C++ using Visual Studios 2022, SDL2, SDL2_image, and SDL2_mixer.
